Stephen Coniglio ($748K MID/FWD, GWS)

Fancy that? Putting the man in his preferred position and he blossoms – not brain surgery I wouldn’t have thought! Cogs is running hot since Mark McVeigh took over the reins with a 3 round average of 119! One of the form players of the comp doing what he does best through the midfield and sneaking forward.

Timmy English ($878K RUCK/FWD, WB)

Fresh off the bye and news of Big Max’s injury, English now has to be a high priority for non-owners… We don’t exactly have elite options jumping out at us in the ruck department. Get him in!

Harry Himmelberg ($600K FWD, GWS)

Not for the faint-hearted this one… Much like Cogs, Himmelberg has enjoyed a more fantasy friendly role, residing at full back for the past three weeks getting involved in the giants possession chains for a ton of cheap +6’s! This culminated in a whopping 161 from 16 marks vs the lowly Norf in round 13. High-risk, high-reward, but if you’ve almost put 2022 in the deepfreeze worth consideration!

Hold

Nick Daicos ($640K DEF/MID, COLL)

Wowee! Many coaches would have pencilled in R14 as the opportune time to flick Daicos given his bye. Daicos has said “stuff it” and gone nar-nars for back to back tons! Some coaches will still trade but I can’t justify trading a guy in this form!

Will Brodie ($756K MID/FWD, FREO)

Plenty of coaches were/are worried about the impact on Fyfe on Will Brodie. Fact is, he still got to 86 after a poor first quarter and a half! Surely you have bigger issues elsewhere? If not, it’s an absolute luxury trade.

Christian Petracca ($800K MID, Fight Club)

Yes, he has been frustrating for owners but I don’t think there is a heap to gain trading him out now given how much cash he has bled! May as well hold and continue getting those rooks off the field. Trust the process, he will come good.

Fold

Max Gawn ($845K RUCK, Fight Club)

Was clearly playing sore in Big Freeze 8 and coaches biggest fears came to fruition with news Big Max is out for 3-5 weeks with an ankle injury. Yes, he has the bye this week but you can’t justify holding a phat $845K on the bench for 2-4 weeks after that! A trade to Timmy English seems sensible.

Caleb Marchbank ($294K DEF, CARL)

Sad reacts only. This bloke just can’t take a trick! After a 1069 day layoff between AFL games, Marchbank has pulled up with a knee injury that will keep him out for another 6-8 weeks. For those who jumped on, it’s an obvious trade.

Zayne Dorko ($715K MID/DEF, BL)

Averaging 72 over the past month and could not finish the game on the weekend after a hamstring complaint. The bye could be your opportunity to offload! A trade to someone like Whitfield would only take $34K.
