Jai Culley ($224K MID/FWD, WCE) – 76

After being selected with the 1st pick in the 2022 mid-season draft, Culley showed every bit that he is a ready made AFL footballer. His tackling (11) was a real feature and should get a good run at it in the last five weeks. A good opportunity for coaches to grab some $$$ and generate some cash late in the season.

Jack Sinclair ($887K DEF/MID, STK) – 146

To my loyal followers, I’m not gonna lie, there is some St Kilda bias in this! However, the numbers don’t lie with Sinclair averaging a mammoth 131 over the past three weeks, bonkers! While it was tough to watch my Sainters trot around and make a mockery of the Friday night timeslot, Sinclair was allowed to roam free and seemed to be involved in every St Kilda chain. Assuming no tags are forthcoming, make him a high priority.

Callum ‘Pills, Thrills’ Mills ($891K DEF, SYD) – 132

After a uncharacteristically horrific 54 back in R16, Mills has returned to his brilliant best with 148 and 132 including a combined 25 tackles. That 54 has pushed his price below $900K and we won’t be seeing him cheaper than this for the rest of the season! All aboard.

In the Mix: Josh Carmichael, Rowan Marshall, Marcus Bontempelli.

Hold

Ben Keays ($813K MID, CROM) – 76

Grrrrrr. After 3×110+ scores in the preceding weeks, Keays struggled to get going and was particularly quiet in the last quarter vs the Pies. He failed to register a mark on his way to a sub-par 76! Whilst this was undoubtedly frustrating for owners, I think Keays bounces back with upcoming fixtures against West Coast and Norf.

Tim English ($837K RUCK/FWD, WB) – 58

Yuck. Timmy’s first real blemish for the season in an around his injuries! Since overcoming concussion, he hasn’t been the same but given his earlier season form he deserves a reprieve. Has a tough matchup vs Melbourne (Gawn/Jackson combo) so can understand coaches looking to shop around.

Nick Daicos ($757K MID/DEF, COLL) – 147

Now this may seem like a no-brainer, but chances are there is a coach or two out there thinking “The aim is to get rid of those on-field rooks ASAP.” In most instances, this is logical and probably the right thing to do! In this case, throw out the textbook! Daicos is looking every bit a keeper and after a massive game vs Crom on the weekend. Only flag may be if he cops more attention from the opposition? Would be a huge compliment to a guy in his first season!

Fold

Patrick Cripps ($746K MID, CARL) – 84

Crippa just can’t seem to eclipse the 80’s these days with his latest performance adding to a string of mediocre scores (four in a row). We are now at the pointy end of the season and cannot be accepting 80’s from our premos! Hopefully you have a bit of a Warne chest at your disposal to get him up to an uber!

Josh Kelly ($822K MID, GWS) – 57

Kelly battled throughout the game, eventually finishing with a lacklustre 57 from 73% game time. Given he is now set to miss this week through concussion protocols, many coaches will be looking to chase points. This is particularly pertinent for coaches jostling for a position in the top-8 and even top-4!

Jake Soligo ($471K MID, CROM) – 74

Jake has shown his worth as a solid, reliable cash cow over the past ten weeks. However, he has virtually maxed out in price and heads into R19 with a breakeven of 56! Time to grab some cash and use that to get to a big dawg!
