Jack Macrae ($914K MID, WB) – 148
Standard J.Macrae. This was brewing for quite some time and takes his 3 round average to 126! Bonkers numbers and someone everyone needs in their squad by season’s end.
Patrick Parnell ($261K DEF, ADEL) – 75
Huge from the young fellow! Coaches were sceptical of Parnell’s job security following the R13 bye but he put those doubts to rest with 14 disposal, 10 mark game vs Gold Coast. Copped a knock midway through the game which slowed him down a little but ended on a very respectable 75!
Luke Jackson ($537K RUC/FWD, MELB) – DNP
Could big Jackson be our answer to the ruck carnage? One thing is for sure, he will see more ruck time in the coming few weeks in the absence of Max Gawn. At $537K with DPP flexibility… you could do a lot worse!

Hold
Tim English ($884K RUC/FWD, WB) – 114
I can understand why some are folding… however, I don’t think there is much to gain from such a move. Timmy will miss one, max two games and given the lack of reliable ruck options, will be required when we get to the pointy end of the season!
George Hewett ($799K DEF/MID, CARL) – 73
Incredibly, this is Hew’s first score <80 for the season… He has been nothing short of phenomenal for coaches and there is no reason to lose the faith now!
Touk Miller ($882K MID, GCS) – 90
Don’t think twice, it’s a hold! Touk will come good and the fact I am mentioning him in the ‘hold’ section coming off a respectable enough 90 shows the class of the man. He’ll be fine.

Fold
Zac Butters ($614K MID/FWD, PA) – 44
Hallelujah! (I mean, darn…) This is surely the final nail in the coffin for Butters owners. Ironically, Butters led the scoring early into Q2 when he unfortunately succumbed to a knee injury which will keep him out long enough for coaches to not justify holding… Hopefully your health and wellbeing improves off the back of flicking what has been a revolving headache of a selection!
Braydon Goose ($657K RUC, GWS) – 14
What a whirlwind of a Saturday night for coaches… in the space of 10 minutes, Goose had a nice run of scoring, decked Tim English (1 week suspension) and carked his ankle! He ended the night on 14 points and won’t be back until R16 at the earliest… time to go!
Sam Durdin ($201K DEF, CARL) – 33
Some coaches took the punt on the mid-season recruit given Weitering’s long-term injury… Sadly, Durdin could not finish the game, succumbing to a knee injury which will see him side-lined for at least a month. He has never set the house on fire from a scoring perspective so this one hurts for coaches who were hoping for a heartbeat on the bench.
