BUY

Andy Brayshaw ($982K MID, FREO) – DNP

Coaches R13 trading strategy should revolve around trading in guys who are fresh off their bye. For coaches with plenty of $$$ looking for an uber upgrade, Bray is your man! 5-round average of 123 is elite level material.

Lachie Neale ($829K MID, BL) – DNP

For the more cash strapped coach, Neale looks ripe for the picking. Also fresh off his bye, Neale is arguably under-priced heading into the second half of the season!

Jack Steele ($851K MID, STK) – DNP

Continuing the theme of upgrade options fresh off their bye with one J.Steele. Whilst he has been a bit up and down in 2023, I expect him to bounce back big time in the second half of the season!

HOLD

Bailey Humphrey ($520K MID/FWD, GCS) – 68

With Gold Coast heading into their bye, coaches will be tempted to move on from the bear given the $$$ on his head… I see him as a hold and important green dot across R14/15! His price again rose by >$40K so he still has plenty of growth in him.

Jack Ziebell ($854K FWD/DEF, NORF) 73

Mmmm so it wasn’t great and Hall did hog the kick-ins… For now I’m not panicking but he’s a definite watch over the coming weeks!

Harry Sheezel ($772K FWD/DEF, NORF) – 64

Eventually coaches will have plans for Sheezel but surely there are more pressing issues in your squad?! Prior to this 64, Sheezel averaged just a tick under a ton the preceding five weeks – well and truly good enough to warrant holding!

Jordan De Goey ($749K MID, COLL) – 58

Comical. Enjoy Bali, chief!

Alex ‘Discount Pharmacy’ Cincotta ($401K DEF/MID, CARL) – 39

Coaches who held were cheerin’ when they heard Cincotta had made the cut for Carlton… Unfortunately, he did his hopes to staying in the 1’s no favours and in the process dried up his cash gen. He can be moved on now!

Jy Simpkin ($661K MID, NORF) – 7

Disastrous. Copped a head knock early in the game vs Essendon, resulting in a concussion and at least a week if not two weeks on the sidelines. It’s a trade at this point!
