BUY

James Sicily ($951K DEF, HAW) – 160

Bonkers. If you are a non-owner that has copped the Daicos injury (so virtually everyone!), the Sic Dawg is your best bet. He may yet have another massive score in him with a fixture down at Pig Park… Hopefully it isn’t wet and or windy!

Hayden Young ($740K DEF, FREO) – 119

Has he burnt many a coach this season? Yes. Should you hear me out? Also yes. Over the past two weeks, Young has attended 52% and 77% of centre bounces respectively. Given the Dokers are out of finals contention, you’d think they’d be happy to continue the experiment to finish the season given he has been solid and is coming off a great all-round performance with 119. It could go awry but there’s every chance he could be that unique that your opponent won’t want to see…

Matthew Crouch (728K MID, CROM) – 120

How about this for a resurgence?! Crouch has thrived since returning to Crom 1’s with all the speed on the outside to allow him to play to his strengths. His CBA’s are up, he is getting his nose in the trough and winning bulk footy. If you are looking for value, Crouch is ticking plenty of boxes!

HOLD

Josh Dunkley ($938K MID/FWD, BL) – 81

Hahaha thank f*ck he tackles! Dunks had three handballs and seven tackles to half time to be 34… Things didn’t get a whole lot better after the fact, however, he has done enough over the season to justify a hold!

Jack Steele ($898K MID, STK) – 59

After a month of tons, Jack waited until the first week of finals to deliver his worst score of the season surely destroying a few coaches’ season’s along the way… If he did cook you, I understand why the rage trade may stick – he also had his second lowest score of 60 against this weeks opponent (Richmond) – I’ll keep the faith as I have Daicos and Marecrae, however.

Kieran Briggs ($780K RUC, GWS) – 114

Fwaaa the gift that keeps on giving! What a gun this man has been. A past fortnight of 130 and 114 means coaches can well and truly afford to hold with underperformers making themselves known in other positions!

FOLD

Nick Daicos ($894K DEF, COLL) – 37

A real shame this! The silver lining? Basically everyone has him so we may start to see some unique selections pop out of the sprinkler. If you were considering holding, lol no. He is out for six weeks and you don’t retain him next season without coughing up $$$.

Jack Macrae ($781K MID/FWD, WB) – 90

God this has been a frustrating watch and it’s fair to say coaches’ patience has worn very thin. 5 round average in the mid-80’s just ain’t it. Still not attending anywhere near as many centre bounces to be pumping out those vintage 120’s!

Harry Sheezel ($775K FWD/DEF, NORF) – 53

Well… Fair to say Ziebell’s return didn’t help Harry out in the slightest… You would think Norf will keep playing Ziebell given his decorated career which means the time is now to pull the trigger on a Sheezel move if you haven’t already!
