BUY

Jack Steele ($802K MID, STK) – 146

Boom! Long overdue mind you… This is the cheapest we will see Jack Steele for quite some time. If you need to save some $$$ or can’t get to an uber big dog, Steele will be the popular option.

James ‘Sic Dawg’ Sicily ($934K DEF, HAW) – DNP

The Sic Dawg returns from what many would would have considered a harsh suspension… A change from his usual suspend-able antics over the years! A date with Norf @ Marvel should see Sic slot straight back in for a big ton.

Christian Petracca ($938K MID, MELB) – 104

With news Oliver will be out for a further two or three weeks, all aboard the Trac train! Since Oliver’s injury, Trac hasn’t gone under 100 in six outings with 4×115+ scores. His CBAs were slightly down on the weekend that’s a flag worth mentioning.

In the Mix: Cooper Harvey, Callum Mills.

HOLD

Tom Green ($863K MID, GWS) – 69

Well… That was weird! Greeny put in an uncharacteristically quiet performance, racking up just the 17 disposals and a goal in what many thought would be a more favourable match up vs Hawthorn! Keep the faith however, he has been elite this season.

Josh Kelly ($855K MID, BWS) – 30

Gee whiz the Giants were piss poor on the fantasy front (except Cogs)! 6 touches and 4 tackles?! On notice but I think worth a hold given he still attended a fair chunk of centre bounces.

Harry Himmelberg ($632K DEF/FWD, BWS) – 75

Continuing on the BWS theme with Himmelberg. Coaches who invested would have hoping for something closer to 90… I think we can take some comfort in knowing that Himmelberg still had his six kick-ins and with Haynes out this week means he should maintain the back six role! If you are in a position to get him up to a big dawg however, you have my blessing.

In the Mix: Sam Walsh, Angus Sheldrick, Zak Butters.

FOLD

Will Day ($774K DEF/MID, HAW) – 87

Now this may seem a bit harsh, however, the reality is he is not a top-8 mid nor a top-6 defender. If you’re finished upgrading your rooks, Day should be on the chopping block!

Matthew Johnson ($542K MID, FREO) – 41

Has been solid as a rock, having added $342K to his initial asking price. Time to cull and either get some $$$ in the bank or use the money on his head to go up!

Harry Sheezel ($749K FWD/DEF, NORF) – 52

If you have nothing else pressing then it may just be time to part ways with the Sheez. He hasn’t missed a beat, averaging 95 in one of the best rookie seasons in living memory! You have to ask yourself: Will the Sheez be in the top 6 scoring defenders for the rest of the season?

In the Mix: Ben Hobbs, Caleb SeWrong, Seamus Mitchell, Toby Nankervis, Jake Llooooyd.
